Volunteer Connections East Sussex
Volunteer Connections was established in January 2003 with funding from
the Big Lottery Fund. Based at Prospects House it co-ordinates
people who wish to volunteer with placements that need volunteers.
Volunteer Connections has received
funding from East Sussex County Council, Lloyds
TSB, Wealden District Council
and works in partnership with Millennium
Volunteers. Volunteer
Connections supports volunteers thought placements, will make appointments
and if required go with the volunteer to their placement. Volunteer
Connections is committed to Equal Opportunities for all and is sensitive
to the special needs of vulnerable members of the community regardless of
age, disability or disadvantage.
Volunteers can also get help and advice on
individual training needs and opportunities. Hailsham Trust can arrange
funding for courses depending on availability. If
you are interested in volunteering, or would like to offer places for
volunteers, please ring Karen Crozier on 01323 446416, or email: karen.crozier@hailshamtrust.co.uk.
